The new Barclaycard JetBlue cards are now open for applications! Back in February, I posted about the JetBlue transition from American Express to Barclaycard, and as of today, you can apply for one of these new cards. There are actually 4 cards, 3 of which are new. The fourth card is what American Express customers will receive and is not open to new applications at this time.
Details of the new Barclaycard JetBlue credit cards were announced today. JetBlue is ending their relationship with American Express and not only will Barclaycard be issuing the new credit cards, but they also purchased the American Express JetBlue portfolio. All American Express JetBlue cards will eventually be taken over by Barclaycard.
With all of the higher than normal signup bonuses lately with American Express cards that participate in the Membership Rewards program, and also with changes to some airline transfer partners, there has been a lot of discussion as to the best ways to use Membership Rewards points.
