50 Percent Transfer Bonus From Membership Rewards To Virgin America

Now through March 10, 2016 there is a 50 percent transfer bonus from Membership Rewards to Virgin America.  American Express Membership Rewards points normally transfer at a 2:1 ratio with a minimum of 200 points transferred, so 200 Membership Rewards points normally gets you only 100 Virgin America Elevate points.  With this transfer bonus, 200 points will translate into 150 Elevate points, but it this a good deal?
